If I use Linux as a host or Windows 7?

I'm in aerospace engineering. What I know is I do 3D modeling, simulation, simulation physics, his physics, the quantum mechanical analysis, calculation of data, algorithms, programming (high and low), the video image, conversion natural algorithms (image, audio, video, raw data), research and analysis may be the unknown / Invisible / up (hard to explain), the ability to customize and create functions specialiazed, hacking / cracking / modification, etc. Also remember to education and subsequent work, Im going to need multimedia operating system, and a platform with me gamming console as well as office work and socialization. So, do you think I can use Ubuntu 4.10 As Host and use of VMware to run Snow Leopard or Windows 7 (though you have already installed Windows 7)? The reason you want to use Snow Leopard is to enjoy the OpenCL and other technologies integrated into the operating system. Also, if I use Linux, what programs do you recommend? What I can report the find?

All First, you are legally Snow Leopard can be installed on Apple computers. You can not even install on a virtual machine. Second, VM OpenCL not be eligible because they do not work for your hardware current running on the virtual hardware that supports it. Each time you do something on a virtual machine, you take a performance hit. Especially in terms of graphics intensive. For modeling and simulation, you want to use the computer. By the way, if you write your own simulations, Nvidia has released drivers for Linux and Windows OpenCL. They also support their own CUDA (which does the same) on Linux, Windows and OS X and Windows drivers include support for DirectCompute. Mac OS X is the only one operating system * * OpenCL standardized, but is available for everyone.
